HomesRunner started with a simple frustration: when something breaks at home, finding a trustworthy pro who can actually show up this week is harder than it should be. Most marketplaces treat homeowners like leads to be sold and contractors like a phone-number list to be billed.
We're building HomesRunner differently. Profiles are reviewed before approval. Background screening is optional, not required for booking; license and insurance details are self-reported and labeled that way. Homeowners pay a deposit at booking — not a fee for clicking a link — and that deposit goes straight to the work. Reviews come only from completed, paid jobs, so what you read actually reflects what happened.

Is HomesRunner free for homeowners?
Yes. Posting a job and getting quotes is free. You only pay a deposit when you accept a quote, and that deposit is applied to your contractor's invoice.
How do you verify contractors?
Profiles are reviewed before approval. Background screening is optional and does not determine booking availability. Pros declare their license and liability insurance. Those declarations are self-reported — we don't collect certificates or contact the issuer. See how we verify for the full process.
What if a job goes wrong?
Contact our support team within 7 days of completion. Deposits are protected and we mediate disputes case-by-case.
