HomesRunner started with a simple frustration: when something breaks at home, finding a trustworthy pro who can actually show up this week is harder than it should be. Most marketplaces treat homeowners like leads to be sold and contractors like a phone-number list to be billed.
We're building HomesRunner differently. Every contractor is license-verified and background-checked before they take a single job. Homeowners pay a deposit at booking — not a fee for clicking a link — and that deposit goes straight to the work. Reviews come only from completed, paid jobs, so what you read actually reflects what happened.

Is HomesRunner free for homeowners?
Yes. Posting a job and getting quotes is free. You only pay the 25% deposit when you accept a quote, and that deposit is applied to your contractor's invoice.
How do you verify contractors?
Every contractor must provide a current state license (where required), proof of liability insurance, and pass a background check before they can accept jobs. See how we verify for the full process.
What if a job goes wrong?
Contact our support team within 7 days of completion. Deposits are protected and we mediate disputes case-by-case.
